Nice and Groovy

It is now in my hand. I was mesmerized by its beauty and thought of getting it was so intense. I told myself to cool off and for a while, I got over it. Then, classes at Shermay started promoting strongly on bundt pans from Nordic Ware. That ignited my interest again. Though there are various pretty pans such as the maple leaves and rose available, none caught my attention as this. This pan is exclusively sold by William-Sonoma online only. Now, one of them is in my home.Posted by Picasa

Finally arrived!

When I first heard the term hearth oven from Chef Daniel Tay, I was wondering if he was talking about earth oven and what on earth was it. I had then decide to buy the book "The Bread Baker's Apprentice" to learn more about bread baking and that was where I learned the term hearth bread. During the third lesson, we baked Fecile and Pain Levure and they had to be baked on the pizza stone. The one used by Shermay School is a round one.

Once I went home, I went to search online for the baking/pizza stone which is rectangular and can fit nicely into the oven and I found one. It has finally arrived and I hope to bake on it when the children recover

Thank you, Bruce and Flavio

I'd been searching for this cookie stamp as I'd seen few bloggers using on the fondant as well as the cookies. When I finally found the source, it didn't provide shipment to Singapore. Just then, CC informed me that Flavio will be visiting Singapore and asked if I needed to buy anything. Bingo! I then asked him to assist me to purchase this and then bring in from Italy. He'd really did it and gave me not one set but three!

I'd first seen this on Elyn's blog and did a search for it to see if any of this fitted my Kenwood. Unfortunately, there was none. So during my trip to Las Vegas, I didn't purchase it since I hadn't bought my KA yet. When I finally had my pink KA, CC asked me again if I needed to get anything from US as Bruce would be flyinging there. I was overjoyed!
Thanks to both gentlemen for the kind assistance!

Oh Kitty Kitty

My new additions to the baking gadgets. I just cannot resist the temptation.
