I had not been baking as often since last December holiday. Father was taken ill and I were the only one available; coupled with the fact that the kids had constantly messed up the house regardless of the number of times I tidied, I was totally exhausted and depleted of my enthusiam. December also saw Chef Daniel's class being cancelled and that was so disappointing. I would still be procrastinating if Wen didn't mention about Chef Audrey's class. I went and it got me started again. This is a very tasty cake and I couldn't help myself to a second helping when Chef Audrey cut it after the class.
Something refreshing for the Lunar New Year indeed.
