Plump little shell cakes

The thought of making Madeleine have been on my mind since baking those Financiers. Both teacakes share rather similar recipes and methodology. Each has its own distinct shape and history. I'm captivated by the taste as well as the uniqueness of these little shells. Just as Macarons need to show their frilly feet, these Madeleine ought to show the protruding humps.
