This was my maiden cake contribution for the christmas eve potluck at SIL's house. I don't know if they had any expectation from me when they made the request for my bakes but they were really captivated by the presentation. I must count my blessing for having attended Chef Keiko's class on Christmas Bakes!
The main challenge of making this log was piping out this biscuit sponge. First attempt was not that satisfactory but I had to do a mock for tasting. It was well received and I was tasked to make one more. Second and third bakes turned out to be pretty good and the rest of the assembly was a breeze.
